Bialik College Table and Seating

The large table and benches and long perimeter seat are significant elements within the Bialik College library courtyard in Melbourne. Andrew was contracted by Urban Initiatives Landscape Architects to design and then to produce steelwork fabrication documents for both the table setting and the long perimeter seat. The timber components were fabricated in Andrew’s workshop and with the help of the landscape contractor he oversaw the assembly and installation of the long seat and table set. They now form a sculptural and functional focal point in the corner of the courtyard for students to use casually or for informal class gatherings.
